A Little Spicy Chicken Appetizers

Ingredients

* Non-stick oil spray
* 5 lbs. chicken wings or 4 lbs. chicken wing drumettes
* 1 C mayonnaise
* 1 TBSP Cajun seasoning, or mix ½ tsp. each paprika, dried thyme, dried basil, garlic powder, onion powder and freshly ground black pepper with 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
* 1 tsp. salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Mix the mayonnaise, Cajun seasoning and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
3. Cover wings or drumettes completely with the mayonnaise mixture.
4. Place chicken on a foil lined cookie sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.
5. Bake the chicken for 10-12 minutes.
6. Flip chicken and continue to bake another 13-15 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked through.
7. Adjust your cooking time down for drumettes.

Story

I like spicy chicken wing appetizers, but they start to taste the same after awhile. The creamy mixture of this chicken wing appetizer makes them just a little bit different. If you bring a plate of these to a potluck, they won’t get lost in among all the other spicy chicken wing appetizers. You’ll have a stand-out dish for sure!
