Pineapple Banana Mamma

Ingredients

* Half a pineapple, peeled and chopped
* 2 small bananas, peeled and chopped
* 1 peach, stoned and cut into quarters

Directions

1. Blend all the fruit until smooth and enjoy!
2. For a healthier smoothie try throwing a little spirulina powder or a few flax seeds before blending “ these are great super foods and you’ll find them at your local health food store.

Refreshing Lemon Berry Drink

Refreshing Lemon Berry Drink

Ingredients

* 4 C water, divided
* 1 C sugar
* 1 C lemon juice
* 1 TBSP grated lemon peel
* 1 C blackberries
* 2 drops blue food coloring

Directions

1. Place 2 C of the water in a large saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add sugar and stir constantly until sugar dissolves.
3. Remove from heat and add 2 C water, lemon juice and peel.
4. Allow mixture to cool.
5. Place 1 C of lemon mixture into blender.
6. Add all the blackberries.
7. Blended until blackberries are mixed in well.
8. Pour mixture into strainer to remove any seeds.
9. Pour into pitcher containing remaining lemon mixture.
10. Add food coloring.
11. Serve chilled.
