Method:</p>
<p>Put the oil in a pan and fry the dhals, red chillies, asafetida.<br />
Add the ginger chopped in the same pan.<br />
Fry for a while.<br />
Add tamarind, jaggery and salt and grind to a coarse paste.</p>
